As our mission states, Peacemaker Ministries is committed to equipping Christians and their churches to respond to conflict biblically. Since all Christians can benefit from learning biblical principles of conflict resolution, we want to provide churches and individuals with the training and resources to apply God's Word to any type of conflict, and to respond in a way that glorifies Him. One of the primary ways we accomplish this goal is through our events and training.
Seminars & Presentations
Our seminars and presentations are offered in a variety of formats and can be attended by anyone. These introductory-level events provide a foundation in biblical peacemaking that equips people to make peace in their own lives.
For more information, see the Seminars & Presentations page.
Reconciler Training Program
The Reconciler Training Program is appropriate for all Christians who have a desire to assist others who are in conflict. After completing the Reconciler Self-Study Course, a person can choose to attend a live, 2-day training that focuses on either Mediation or Conflict Coaching skills. This training is a pre-requisite for all advanced training.
For more information, see the Reconciler Training Program page.
Certification Program
Once they have completed the Reconciler Training Program, those individuals who are particularly gifted and called to be Christian conciliators may apply to the Certification Program. If their application is accepted, the Certification Program equips the most gifted reconcilers to serve God's church in a variety of conflict situations by combining live teaching at the Certification Practicum (which covers mediation, arbitration, and conflict coaching), a mentor relationship, and actual case experience.
For more information, see the Certification Program page.
Peacemaker Conference
Each fall, people with an interest in peacemaking gather at our Peacemaker Conference. Over the span of a few days, they listen to notable plenary speakers, attend workshops, worship, rest, and experience deep fellowship with others who are of the same mind and heart. The Peacemaker Conference offers something for everyonefrom those who are newly acquainted with Peacemaker Ministries to those who are seasoned professional Christian conciliators.
For information on this year's conference, see the Peacemaker Conference section.
